Ladies and Gentlemen,
we would like to invite you with great pleasure to the IV International Scientific Conference “Agriculture of the XXI century – problems and challenges”, which will take place on 26-27.03.2019 in the International Conference Centre in Krzyżowa.
Contemporary agriculture is a rapidly developing branch of industry, and therefore the subject of the conference covers the issues of the development of modern technologies, systems and solutions used in agriculture, as well as the production of healthy food. The conference will focus on issues related to animal production, rural areas development, as well as the current situation of agriculture in Europe. Agroenergetics, possibilities of using biogas, bio-fuels, solar and wind energy are also an important topic. The organised conference allows the exchange of views as well as the formation and strengthening the cooperation, both scientific between universities, scientific institutions, as well as private entrepreneurs, in terms of current trends in the agricultural and food sector. Each conference is an opportunity to present the results of own scientific and research works, as well as scientific discussion and the exchange of ideas that affect the selection of the direction of further research works, and establishing contacts, which can lead to interdisciplinary works, and the possibility to establish acquaintances and friendships.
Over 110 participants from Poland, Belarus, Germany, Turkey, Bangladesh and Sudan took part in the last edition of the International Scientific Conference “Agriculture of the XXI century – problems and challenges”.

It is possible to present an additional lecture/poster.
The price of the additional presentation is 30 €.
Participation in the conference guarantees the possibility of publication of one chapter in the scientific monograph.
The cost of each successive article is 45 €.
It is possible to accommodate the participants in single rooms:
26-27 March 2019 (one accommodation) – extra charge for a single room is 30 €.
25-27 March 2019 (two accommodations) – extra charge for a single room is 45 €.

Abstract – requirements
The abstract should be the most condensed information about the subject of the presentation or the poster, as well as it should include information about the article’s thesis, methodology of the research carried out and the most important findings and conclusions.
The length of the abstract should be from 1000 to 1500 characters including spaces.
The abstract must be sent within the deadline indicated in the DEADLINES tab.

Participants of the Conference have the opportunity to present their scientific achievements in the form of a lecture. The prepared presentation should be thematically related to the issued raised during the Conference. The lectures may concern the Speaker’s own research and the solutions of theoretical issues.
LECTURE – The presentation in the form of a lecture should not exceed 10 minutes. The presentation should be prepared in Power Point.
POSTER – The presentation in the form of a paper poster in the A1 form (height 841 mm. x width 594 mm.)

Publication
Each participant of the conference has the opportunity to publish his scientific achievements as a chapter of a monograph. The authorship of this article allows you to add 5 points (MNiSW) to your point achievements. The chapter of the monograph can be prepared both in Polish and English. The scientific monograph is a reviewed, published, thematically coherent study presenting the issue in an original and creative manner.
The publication will be published electronically, which increases the chances of getting more citations, significant from the point of view of the authors. As soon as the monograph is published in accordance with the deadline indicated in the DEADLINE tab, it will be available on the conference website to download by clicking the POST-CONFERENCE MONOGRAPH button (the button will be available at the time of publication of the monograph on 30.06.2019). We encourage you to include links to your publications on ResearchGate and/or Academia.edu – these are the international, free social networking sites targeted at academics across all fields.

PLACE OF THE CONFERENCE
International Conference Centre “Krzyżowa”
The modern training and conference facility is located in a picturesque village Krzyżowa, in the former estate of the von Moltke family, along with the Spichlerz hotel. The XVIII-century Palace and buildings around the courtyard create a unique atmosphere, and the location in the village provides peace and calm, as well as contact with nature. Everyone will find both the right form of rest and comfortable working conditions here.

Travelling by car
The International Conference Centre “Krzyżowa” is conveniently accessible from Wrocław to the city of Wałbrzych – on the motorway bypass A8, and then the national road no. 35, and after reaching Świdnica we choose the direction of Dzierżoniów, then, after about 2 kilometres after Świdnica we should turn right to the village of Krzyżowa.
Public transport
You can get to the Conference Centre by the Lower Silesian Railway train directly from the railway station Wrocław Główny to Krzyżowa (through Świdnica). You can also take a bus (Guliwer, PWHD) from the Wrocław Bus Station to the Bus Station in Świdnica, then from pl. Grunwaldzki (approx. 300 m) by city bys no. 12 to Krzyżowa.
Distance from the airport: approx. 60 km.
